What are the structural features of the screw feeder?

The screw feeder detects the weight of the material passing through the weighing bridge to determine the weight of the material on the tape. The digital speed sensor installed at the tail can continuously measure the speed of the feeder. The pulse output of the speed sensor is proportional to the speed of the feeder, the speed signal and the weight signal are sent to the feeder controller together with the microprocessor in the controller. To generate and display cumulative/instantaneous flow. The flow rate is compared with the set flow rate. The output signal of the control instrument controls the frequency converter to change the driving speed of the feeder, so that the flow rate of the material on the feeder changes, approaching and maintaining the set flow rate, thus realizing the requirement of quantitative feeding.

The driving end bearing and tail bearing of the screw feeder are placed outside the shell of the material groove to reduce the influence of dust on the bearing and improve the service life of the key parts of the screw feeder. Sliding bearing is used in the suspension bearing of screw feeder, and dust-proof sealing device is installed. Nylon or plastic is used for the sealing parts of screw feeder. Therefore, the sealing performance is good, the wear resistance is strong, the resistance is small and the service life is long. The bearing bush of sliding bearing of screw feeder has powder metallurgy, nylon and Babbitt alloy. It can be selected according to different needs. The flexible layout of the inlet and outlet of screw feeder makes it more adaptable and has been recognized by users.

The screw feeder is usually composed of driving device, head section, middle section, tail section, head and tail bearing, feeding and discharging device and so on. If conditions permit, it is better to place the driving device at the discharging end, because the driving device and the discharging outlet are reasonably installed at the head section (with thrust bearing assembly), so that the screw can be in the tension-loading state. Each part of the head, middle and tail segments has several different lengths. The arrangement order of each spiral section of screw conveyor should follow the principle of arranging the spiral section in order according to the length of the spiral section and arranging the spiral section of the same specification together. The installation starts from the head and proceeds in sequence. In general arrangement of screw feeder, attention should also be paid to the fact that the base and outlet should not be arranged at the flange of the shell joint, and the inlet and outlet should not be arranged above the suspension bearing.

1. The spiral shaft is connected with suspension bearings, head and tail shafts by inserting tongues. The installation and disassembly need not move axially, and the maintenance is convenient. The mandrel is long, less hanging and less trouble points.

2. Adopt variable diameter structure, increase the volume of suspension bearing, avoid contact between suspension bearing and material, and the service life of suspension bearing can reach more than two years.

3. All transmission parts adopt floating connection mode. The suspension bearing is universal joint structure, which makes the spiral body, suspension bearing and tail form an integral floating body. Within a certain range, it can rotate freely with transmission resistance to avoid collision, no stuffing and no blocking.

4. Head and tail bearing seats are all outside the shell. All bearings adopt multi-layer sealing and matching sealing technology. The service life of bearings is long.

5. Compared with other conveying equipment, the screw feeder has the advantages of small cross-section size, good sealing performance, stable and reliable operation, multi-point loading and unloading in the middle, safe operation and simple maintenance.
