Connection Mode of Automated Production Machine

The automated production line is a kind of production organization form which realizes the production process by automatic machine system. It is based on the further development of the continuous pipeline. Its characteristics are: the processing object is automatically transferred from one machine to another, and processed, loaded and unloaded, inspected, etc. by the machine automatically; the task of the workers is only to adjust, supervise and manage the automatic line, not to participate in direct operation; all the machines and equipment are operated according to a unified beat, and the production process is highly continuous.

In the mechanical manufacturing industry, there are automatic production lines for casting, forging, stamping, heat treatment, welding, cutting processing and mechanical assembly, as well as comprehensive automatic lines for different processes, such as blank manufacturing, processing, assembly, inspection and packaging.

The automatic cutting line is the fastest growing and most widely used in the machinery manufacturing industry. It mainly includes an automatic line of the combined machine tool for machining box, shell, miscellaneous and other parts; automatic line composed of general, specialized or special automatic machine tool for machining shaft, disc ring and other parts; automatic line for machining revolving body; automatic line for machining simple and small parts.

There are two connection modes of automatic production machine in the automatic line: rigid connection and flexible connection.

In the rigid connection automatic line, there is no material storage device between processes, and the processing and transmission process of workpieces have strict rhythm. When certain equipment breaks down and stops, the whole line will be shut down. Therefore, there is a high demand for the working reliability of various automated production machinery equipment in the rigid connection automatic line.

In the flexible connection automatic line, each process (or section) is equipped with a material storage device, and the rhythms of each process do not need to be strictly consistent.

When a piece of certain equipment stops for a short time, the material storage device can play the role of adjustment and balance within a certain time, so it will not affect the normal operation of other automated production machinery equipment. A flexible connection is often used in the integrated automatic line, assembly automatic line and long automatic line of the combined machine tool.
